Shards of Britannia will soon be migrating to its own login server. This page summarizes what you need to do to successfully migrate your accounts.
The first thing to understand - you no longer need to maintain separate email addresses and passwords for each account you own. With the new system, you'll use a single email and password to access ALL of your accounts. However first, you need to get your accounts verified!

Along with the new login server, an updated game launcher is coming as well. This game launcher will let you log in once (using the same main email and password) and access ALL of your accounts from the one location. This new process also improves our overall security, ensuring your accounts remain yours.

FAQ
Q: New login server? What does this mean?
A: To date, our login server was managed by Citadel Studios/LoA Eternal. It will now be managed directly by us, so that we can handle any downtime and outages, and manage the costs associated with an extra piece of infrastructure.
Q: What if I want to use a separate email per account?
A: You can! Just pick a different email when you /verify. However note that you won't be able to multibox with accounts on a separate email address. We appreciate that this is a different approach to what we had previously, however it's an important step towards securing our new login server
Q: When will the new login server come online?
A: We imagine towards the end of April/start of May 2026 at this time. This is subject to change however. It all depends on how many of you get in and /verify your accounts!
Q: How do I know if I have verified my account?
A: Type /verify in game. It will tell you if you've already verified and show you the email address you verified with.
Q: I've verified my two accounts. What if I want more in the future?
A: You can create new accounts in our portal at https://accounts.shardsofbritannia.com - however they won't be available for use until we switch to our new login server. In the meantime, continue to use https://legendsofaria.com for creating new accounts.
Q: HELP! I typed my email address incorrectly when I was verifying!
A: No worries! If you typed your email address wrong, you won't get the verification code. Just log out and back in to the game and try /verify again.
Q: HELP! I don't have access to an email address for my current account!
A: No worries! We'll have a process for this, and make it available before we migrate to the new login server.
Q: HELP! I missed the boat with /verify!
A: No worries! We'll have a process for this, and make it available before we migrate to the new login server.
Q: I'm a grandfathered user with more than 4 accounts. How will this affect me?
A: You'll need to contact us - send a note to https://shardsofbritannia.com/contact and tell us what email address you're going to be using as your primary. We'll get you flagged correctly for this. Make sure you use the same email address you want your game accounts associated with, and let us know one of your active grandfathered accounts so we can validate your eligibility.
Q: You said we'd be doing A, and now we're doing B!
A: Migrating to our own login server is not a simple process. As such, if we discover issues with the current method we've chosen, we may change this down the track. While we've tried to consider every scenario and pick the best method for everyone, we may need to change our approach if something doesn't work out.
