The Masterwork Catalyst is a powerful item that upgrades normal magical weapons, armor, or instruments to exceptional quality. It can be crafted solely by Grandmaster Blacksmiths, using specific ingredients pictured below. These ingredients have a small chance to drop from particular monsters, with the drop rate increasing as the monsters grow more challenging.
Once an item has been converted to being exceptional, insurance costs of that item will rise to the appropriate amount.
