The harvest is in, and Britannia sits down to give thanks. This page is your starting point for Thanksgiving on Shards of Britannia: when it runs, where to go and what there is to do.
- November 7th at 09:00 UTC: Thanksgiving begins, and every activity is open from the first day.
- December 5th at 09:00 UTC: earning ends. Activities stop paying Cranberries and ticking the Book of Thanks.
- December 19th at 09:00 UTC: the Thanksgiving Market and the Pantry close, and so do claims for any rewards you are owed, so you have two more weeks to shop and collect. After this the hubs are cleared away.
Cranberries are the Thanksgiving currency. Thanksgiving activities pay them out, and you spend them with the Market Steward at any Thanksgiving hub. Your household can earn up to 120 Cranberries a day across everything, and limits reset every day at 09:00 UTC. A household is every account that plays from the same computer or the same internet connection.
Like every holiday currency, Cranberries never expire. Any you keep after Thanksgiving can be spent at future holiday events.
The bonuses on Thanksgiving gear only work against monsters, never against players.
You will find a Thanksgiving hub in these towns:
- Britain – on the Britain Bank plaza.
- Yew – on the open ground south-east of Yew’s main bank.
- Moonglow – on the plaza just north of Moonglow Bank.
Each hub has a Long Table and three people to meet:
- Autumna Leafwhisper, the host. She gives out the free Cornucopia Basket, starts Autumna’s Trail, takes Feast Orders and helps with everything else.
- The Market Steward, who sells Thanksgiving goods for Cranberries.
- The Pantry Farmhand, who sells harvest food for gold.
- The Book of Thanks – every account gets one. It lists all 28 activities, ticks off the ones you try and rewards you with Cranberries and titles for trying different things.
- The Long Table – bring food to any Long Table and the whole shard fills one great table together, earning titles and a keepsake. Say grace, play a supper song or seat a pet there too.
- Take a Plate – once the shard has laid the Long Table, take a plate from any Long Table for the Long Table Supper buff.
- Autumna’s Trail and the Hearth Pot – help Autumna set the table, then cook Feast Plates in your own Hearth Pot with no skill needed.
- Giving Thanks – use Thank-You Cards on town vendors for Cranberries, thank other players, or send your thanks off in a bottle.
- Harvest Comforts – harvest hats with small skill bonuses, house comforts like the Scarecrow and Hay Bale Seat, keepsakes that welcome your guests, and four cornucopias whose boons you share with everyone nearby.
- Hunting – hunt wild turkeys, chase the golden Gobbler, fight Harvest Raiders and Harvest Paragons, smash Harvest Bundles and clear Raided Harvest Camps.
- Feast Orders and the Bosses – pay Autumna a gold fee to summon a boss near the hub, and bring friends to bring it down.
- The Feast Raid – a free Feast Order boss storms a Thanksgiving hub on a set schedule, and everyone nearby can join the fight.
- On the Water – win back the Supply Barge off Ocllo, haul in drifting Harvest Crates and fish for harvest fish.
- Gathering, Crafting and Taming – find harvest goods while gathering, open hidden Pilgrim’s Larders, cook a Harvest Fish Pie and dress your pet as a turkey.
- Pie Fights, Pie Duels and the Turkey Cannon – throw Custard Pies at Green Acres or duel anywhere in a guarded town, and fire the Turkey Cannon at monsters.
- Cranberries and Fair Limits – how many Cranberries each activity pays per household per day.
- When Thanksgiving Ends – what stays open until December 19th, and what you keep.
