In this patch we've introduced a scaling rewards system that rewards more evenly matched faction event over unevenly matched events. How this works now is that each faction represents a portion of the reward for winning. The more evenly matched the factions are, the larger the pool of rewards will be. Here are a few examples of what that might look like in practice.
So for example we have a faction pillar conflict with 7 True Britannians, 1 Minax and 3 Shadowlords.
True Britannians win the match and they get 300 silver base for their own faction.
Minax has an under population bonus of 83% in this match.
So TB gets 17% of the Minax reward pool of 300 silver added to their winning silver reward.
SL had 67% under population bonus so TB gets 33% of their winning bonus added to their winning silver reward.
So TB wins but takes home 450 silver as a winning bonus since they had a large advantage in the match.
Now lets say Minax won the match instead of True Britannians in this scenario.
Minax would get their base reward of 300 silver. Plus 100% of the TB bonus since they did not have any under population bonus.
Minax would also get 33% of SL's reward added to their winnings.
So Minax would end up with 699 silver as winning bonus.
