¶ Ocllo and New Haven
After you create a character, you will start the the city “New Haven” on the island “Occlo”. Ocllo is completely PvP-free; players cannot commit criminal acts against other players.
There are three different zones:
- Guarded/Young Haven: the area is guarded, players are protected from monsters. Young Haven means that the content is only available to young players.
- Unguarded/Young Haven: the area is not guarded, players can be attacked by monsters and agressive animals. Young Haven means that the content is only available to young players (like Vaelthar and it’s dungeon).
- Unguarded/No PVP: Players cannot commit criminal acts against other players, young and non-young players can enjoy the content in these areas.
Warning: When you leave, you will enter the PvP world areas, where other players can commit criminal actions against you. If you return to New Haven Ocllo from the PvP world, you will lose the ability to interact with the island’s mobs and animals. NPCs will still interact with you. So think carefully before leaving the New Haven Ocllo PvE area.
New Haven Bank is the central hub of the city. Young players can use the teleporter for fast travel to Britain, and they may find some useful items in the Young Player Chest. A private bank vault can be accessed by typing “bank”.
New Haven has a vendor marketplace near the Bank, run by real players. You can find basic gear, weapons, and much more to help you get started while you’re in New Haven.
Sometimes you may find a vendor with a Vendor Buy Order Book. This book shows what other players are looking to buy from you — for example, wooden boards or iron ingots. To sell an item, simply double-click the Vendor Buy Order Book and target the item in your backpack. Good to make some initial gold!
¶ Young Player Quests
The area in front of New Haven Bank hosts a few NPCs that provide quests for young players. These quests are designed to teach the basics, encourage exploration of the world, and reward players with useful and/or valuable items. The following quests are available:
